In case you are in a traffic accident, according to MOPT decree 39146 states “accident in which two vehicles participate  or a vehicle that collides with an object with slight damages and no personal injuries”,  if the parts agree they can sign the form “Declaración de Accidente Menor” with the purpose to move the vehicles and avoid obstruction of the road and restore free transit, without the presence of a traffic authority.
